John A. Vayo Ii

John A. Vayo II, age 62 of Lake Station passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2024.  He was born on June 16, 1962 in Warrick, Rhode Island.  John worked as a Machine Operator at Merit Steel.  He loved hunting and fishing.

John is survived by his wife of over 40 years, Lori Vayo (nee Biron) of Lake Station, IN; three sons, Kevin (Beth) Jarrell of Jacksonville, FL; John Vayo of Jacksonville, FL; Christopher Vayo of Sevierville, TN;  mother, Elaine Vayo (nee Gregoire) of Rhode Island; two sisters, Judy (Bryan) Neeley of Richmond, KY; Kathy Vayo of Jacksonville, FL; one brothers, Kevin Vayo of Middleburg, FL; ten grandchildren, Kayden, Christopher, Shane, Zachary, Carlee, Corbin, Hunter, Layla, Lilly, Michael, and Dalton.

He was preceded in death by his father, John A. Vayo I, and one brother, Kenny Vayo.
