JOHNATHON S. "JOHNO" VESPO, age 26, of Portage, passed away Thursday, August 25, 2011. Johno was a lifelong Northwest Indiana resident and attended Lake Station Edison High School. He was a current student of Phoenix University. He loved music, football and exercising.

He is survived by his wife, Brianne Vespo, 2 daughters: Makynzie Vespo and Serina Frasier, sisters: Alexis Miller of Lake Station, Gianna Vespo of Portage, mother, Kathlyn (Bill) Handley of Atlanta, GA, step brother, Tony Miller of Lake Station, father, John, Jr. (Dawn) Vespo, grandmother, Eloise Berryman of Atlanta and grandfathers, Vincent Dunn and John Vespo, Sr., step-father, Carl Miller of Lake Station, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and other loving family and dear friends. He was preceded in death by grandmother, Sheila Willaby and great grandmother, Katie O'Dell.
In lieu of flowers donations to the family would be appreciated.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, August 31, 2011 at 11:00 am at Rees Funeral Home, Brady Chapel, 3781 Central Avenue, Lake Station, with Chaplain Kelly Schneider officiating.
