John Anthony Gough, age 55, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, November 5, 2015 at St. Margaret Hospital in Dyer. He was born on September 25, 1960 in East Chicago, Indiana to Ivan and Geraldine Gough. Johnny worked as a Supervisor for Modern Drop Forge for over 20 years. He enjoyed fishing and will always be remembered as a dedicated son, husband, father, uncle and friend to those who love him.

Johnny is survived by his mother: Geraldine Gough; wife: Catherine Gough; sons: Christopher J. (girlfriend: Emily Dupre) Gough, Keith A. (Bethanie Orban) Gough, Sean A. Gough; brother: James (Girlfriend: Leanette Pryor) Gough; sister: Deborah (Jack) Kowal; sister in law: Sherry (Rick) Houston: several loving nieces and nephews; his beloved dog: Bella.

He is preceded in death by his father: Ivan Gough Jr.; mother and father in law: Kenneth and Jean Treadaway. In lieu of flowers, donations in Johnny's name may be made to the family to help with funeral expenses.

A funeral service for Johnny will take place Monday, November 9, 2015 at 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Visitation for Johnny will be held Monday, November 9, 2015 from 2:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Cremation will follow with Rees Funeral Homes and Cremation Services.
