Jolene M. Tummond

Jolene M. Tummond, age 78, of Portage passed away Tuesday February 10, 2026, at the St Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Jolene was a retired Beautician. She was born March 14, 1947, in Gary, Indiana to the late Walter and Betty (Pender) Urszulak. Jolene loved her family and will be dearly missed.

Jolene is survived by her loving husband, Rick Tummond of Portage; her two sons, Jon (Valerie) Tummond of Merrillville, and Joel (Andrea) Tummond of Portage; eight grandchildren, Elijah, Hannah, Nick, Michael, Anj, Rachel, Noland, and Jonathan; ten great grandchildren; and many dear friends and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and one brother, Clark Urszulak.

Jolene wished to be cremated. Her arrangements were entrusted to Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana.
