JON ROBERT LINDHOLM, age 54, of LaPorte, passed away Saturday, July 5, 2014 at the Franciscan Hospice. He was a lifetime area resident and a member of Augustana Lutheran Church. He had a special place in his heart for animals and was a member of the ASPCA. Jon was an avid movie fan and loved music and theatre. He will be remembered as a defiant, interesting man that made his friends and family smile.

He is survived by his cats, Ashes, Scratches, and Skitters; friends, Kurt and Lisa Crizer; aunt and cousins.

Jon was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Ilene Lindholm; and sister, Joy Lindholm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Helping Hands or Augustana Lutheran Church.

There will be visitation for Jon on Wednesday, July 9, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart from 2:00 until the time of service at 7:00 p.m. with Rev.
