Jordan Paul Barraza

Age 26, of Portage, passed away on Saturday, November 25, 2023. He was born on July 20, 1997, to Shawn Ornelas and the late Paul Barraza in Hobart, Indiana. He was a self-employed carpenter. He will be remembered as an outgoing, fun loving, big-hearted man who would help anyone in need. He enjoyed fishing and working on cars, but most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends.

Jordan is survived by his mother, Shawn Ornelas; maternal grandmother, Elaine Slavik; five sisters, Falon Shalapsik, Holli Lucas, Tiffany Lucas, Nevaeh Barraza and Farah Barraza; aunt, Janet King; cousins Brendon and Tristan King; great aunt, Sharon (Alex Drizos) Hedges; great uncle, Robert (Amber) Hinjosa; the Noriega,  Rivera, Camarillo and Slavik families and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul Barraza, brother, Paul Barraza Jr., grandfather, Paul Slavik and uncle, David King.
