Jose E. Pomales, Jr.
Jose E. Pomales, Jr., age 51, of East Chicago, IN, passed away suddenly on Monday, December 5, 2022.
Jose was born on May 15, 1971 in Gary, IN to Jose Sr. and Luisa (nee Rodriguez) Pomales. He worked as a graphic designer for Atkore in Harvey, IL. Jose married the love of his life, Rebecca "Becky" (nee Bezares) on November 21, 1998. They raised two beautiful daughters and enjoyed 24 years together. Jose and his family are members of Come Alive Family Church.
Jose is survived by his wife, Becky; daughters: Marisa and Alyssa; parents: Jose Sr. and Luisa; siblings: Marco (Kelly), Gabriela, Jessica (Nilay), Jason, and Josephine; nieces and nephews: Elise, Layla, Javier, Jonathan, Victoria, Jalaya, Frankie, Cristiano, Sanjay, and Eli; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Family and friends may gather at Latin Pentecostal Church of God (3950 Marquette Street, Lake Station) from 11:00-1:00 on Saturday, December 10, 2022. A funeral service will take place immediately following visitation at 1:00 P.M. Cremation will follow services.
In lieu of flowers, monetary contributions will be appreciated and made to Rebecca Pomales.
