Joseph Caimerro Cancel, age 52, a longtime resident of Lake Station passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011. He was born on October 10, 1959 in Gary. Joseph was married to Janet Cancel on August 8, 2008 in Crown Point. He had worked as a tree trimmer for Bartlett Tree Service. Joe's greatest pleasure was hunting, fishing, and being with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and a friend to all.
Joe is survived by his loving family; wife Janet Cancel, Lake Station, daughter Lillian (Eloy) Molina, Chicago, granddaughter Isabel Molina, grandson Joshua Molina, and other loving family and very dear friends. He was preceded in death by his mother Lillian Herrera, his brother Tony Herrera, and his beautiful granddaughter Gabriella Molina.
