JOSEPH "Jo Jo" FINOLI, JR., age 58, of Lake Station, passed away at home July 5, 2012, while surrounded by his loving family, after a courageous 7-year battle with cancer. He was born in Gary, Indiana on July 9, 1953 to Joseph and Helen Finoli, who preceded him in death. He enjoyed raising pigeons and was an honorary member of NWI Racing Pigeon Association. A jack of all trades, he enjoyed building, gardening and fishing. Joe was a hobbyist who also enjoyed working on cars and motorcycles. Joe's loving and giving heart will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is survived by his 2 children, Joseph Lazur and Dawn Finoli; 2 grandchildren, Felina and Xavier, 3 sisters, Toni (Dirk) Miller of Hobart, Sheila (Thomas) Menear of Valparaiso, and Marisa (Joe) Eakins of Lake Station; nieces and nephews, Carrie (Rob) Bedwell, Scott (Kelly) Miller, Shawn (Jennifer) Menear, Amanda (Dan) Samuels, Brian (Angela) Menear, Shannon Menear, Craig (Brooke) Menear; great nieces and nephews, Alexandria, Delaney, Caden, Carigan, Landon, Jillian, Grayson, and Gracelyn; special pet , Milo; friend, Diana.
