Josephine "Jody" A. O'Rourke, age 73, of Hobart passed away Monday December 7, 2015 at her home. Jody was born September 23, 1942 in Portland, Maine to the late Joseph and Sylvia (Huston) O'Rourke. She retired after 30 years of service as a Office/Credit Manager and a Sales Representative for Allied Building Supply in Merrillville. Jody was an involved and loving member of the Deep River Church of Christ.

Jody is survived by her three daughters Kelly Kilboy of Villa Park, IL, Carleen Nunez of Woodridge, IL and Tara VanTricht of Grant Park, IL; her brother Jere O'Rourke of Maine; and four grandchildren Jordan Nunez, Adrianna Nunez, Cheyenne VanTricht and Justin VanTricht.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Memorial Visitation will be from 2-8 pm Friday at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana. Memorial Services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday December 12, 2015 at the Deep River Church of Christ 7500 Grand Blvd., Merrillville, IN 46410 with Mr. Ron Buche, officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorial gifts are preferred to either the Porter County VNA Hospice Foundation or to the Hobart Humane Society.
