Josephine A. Fancher, 90, of Portage IN. passed away peacefully Saturday, April 7, 2012 with her family by her side at Golden Living Nursing Home in Valparaiso, IN.
Josephine was born to the late Charles and Francis Yucas.
Preceded in death by her sisters Jenny, Patsy, Marian and Francis and a brother Charles. Also most recently her daughter Gayle Day.
Survived by sons Barry (Carol) Fancher of Portage, Edmund (Rhonda) Fancher of LaPorte and daughter Karen (Thomas Murray) of Valparaiso. Josephine was an adoring grandmother to Thomas (Christine) Murray of Valparaiso, Misty Fancher of Portage, Tim Fancher (Jennifer) of Valparaiso, Brandi Fancher of LaPorte, Richard (Amy) Day of Crown Point, Stephanie Wilson of Arkansas, Eric (Jennifer) Fancher of Texas and Kimberly (Jeff) Bowman of HI. She had 14 great grandchildren.
Friends may meet with family Tuesday, April 10, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN.
