Josephine F. Hill (nee Boyd) age 91 of Hobart passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014. She was born on April 9, 1923 in Kentucky to the late Henry and Nancy Lou Boyd. She was a longtime Hobart resident. She was a member of the Hobart Church of Christ and the Disabled American Veterans Auxiliary of Crown Point, Chapter 80. Josephine enjoyed gardening, sewing and crafts.

She is survived by her husband, Lee Hill of Hobart, IN; 2 daughters, Jacqueline (Gerald) Gillins of Valparaiso, IN; Vickie (David) Wineinger of Andover, MN; 1 brother, Bill Boyd of Cincinnati, OH; 1 sister, Lucille Wilson of Valparaiso/South Haven, IN; 7 grandchildren, Eric, Kurt, Kevin, Laura, Andrew, Jay, and Hillary, and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by 1 brother, Harold Boyd, and 2 sisters, Maude Wrenn, and Gladys Lykins.

Funeral services are Monday, May 12, 2014 at 11 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville, IN.
