Josiah Daniel Figueroa, age 6 months, of Portage passed away unexpectedly at his home. He was born February 11, 2012 in Merrillville, IN to Ray and Angie (Vasquez) Figueroa. Josiah was the light of his family's eyes.
Josiah is survived by his loving parents Ray and Angie Figueroa of Portage; two brothers Ray Figueroa, III and Elijah Figueroa both at home; maternal grandmother Mary Vasquez of Portage; paternal grandparents Antonio and Minerva Fontanez of Portage; ten aunts and uncles, Johann, Johnny, Joshua, Melissa, Nicole, Nilda, Roxanne, Thaddeus, Veronica and William; and several cousins and other extended family members.
Visitation will be Friday, August 17, 2012 from 4:00-8:00pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday August 18, 2012 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel with pastor Nancy Shannon officiating. Burial will follow in Heritage Cemetery Portage, Indiana.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations are preferred to Josiah's Family.
