Josie V. Sullivan, age 89, of Wheatfield, passed away Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at home. She was born on December 28, 1924 in McClelland, Arkansas to the late Luther and Roxie Provance. She will always be remembered by her family as a loving mother and grandmother.

Josie is survived by her son, Pat (Rosa) Sullivan of Wheatfield, Indiana; daughter, Marilyn (James) Ashley of Crossville, Tennessee; 5 grandchildren, Michael Ashley, Jeffrey (Rosa) Ashley, Joseph Ashley, Bryan (Royanna) Sullivan and Hollie (Justin) Collins; 11 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Sullivan; parents, Luther and Roxie Provance; brothers, George and Verley Provance; sisters, Ann Castleberry and Jewell Wilkinson.

A funeral service for Josie will take place at 11:00 am on Friday, October 24, 2014 at Rees Funeral Home, Winfield Chapel, 10909 Randolph, Crown Point, with Rebecca Keller officiating.
