Joyce D. Lemmon

Joyce D. Lemmon, age 73, of Lake Station, IN, formerly of Carrsville, KY, passed away Tuesday March 1, 2016. She was born on November 8, 1942. Joyce was a graduate of Livington Central High School in Burna, KY. She retired from US Steel -North Roll Shop in 2007. She got the most pleasure from her family and the flowers in her yard.
She is survived by her son Donald Lemmon of Portage; three daughters, Denise, Carla, and Dena all of Gary, IN; granddaughters; Jessica, Vicky, Du'Rica, Alisha, and Roberta; grandsons, Randy, Chris, Ryan, John, Derek, Dustin, and Joey; 15 great grandchildren; three sisters, Wilma, Kay, and Raye; two brothers Edward and Joe.
Joyce is preceded in death by her father, Houston Myrick; mother, Maud Tolley; stepfather, Otis Tolley; grandson, Raymond Lemmon Dobson.
Funeral services are Saturday March 12, 2016 at 10 am at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, IN. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery, Portage.
