Joyce Darlene (nee Ginther) Pennock, age 84, of Hobart, passed away January 18, 2017. She was born on July 9, 1932 in Savanah, Illinois to the late George and Margaret Ginther. On May, 11, 1961, she married the love of her life, Donald P. Pennock, who preceded her in death in March of 2016. Joyce was at one time regional leader of Tiara Indiana Glass, selling vintage depression glassware. She will always be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and friend. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, painting and shopping at garage sales. Above all, she cherished the time she spent with her grandchildren.

Joyce is survived by her sons, Kim (Mary) Kessler, Michael Pennock; daughters, Vickie (Gary) Scearce, Reesa (Brad) Murray; grandchildren, Eric (Jeanine) Crofton, Melissa (Bryan) Robinson, Matthew (Renee) Scearce, Katie (Ryan) Jones, Kara Kessler, Kristyn Kessler, Kevin Kessler, Jasmine Pennock, Josie Pennock; great grandchildren, Isaac, Connor, Skylar, Julian, Collyn, Keagan, Ella, Cayden, Scarlett, Aubrey, and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Ginther; and her husband, Donald P. Pennock.

Memorial contributions in Joyce's name may be made to VNA Hospice.

Memorial visitation will take place Friday, January 20, 2017 from 2:00 pm until 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
