Joyce I. Staudohar

Joyce I. Staudohar, age 88, of Lakes of the Four Seasons, formerly of Duluth, Minnesota passed away Wednesday, March 1, 2017. Joyce was born in Duluth, Minnesota on September 26, 1928 to the late Jonas and Marie (nee Hanson) Iverson. Joyce was a retired special education teacher and was very passionate about her teaching. She was a very active member of Cross of Christ Lutheran Church in Crown Point. She was very social, loved her Church family, gardening and adored her friends. Joyce will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother and friend.

Joyce is survived by her son, Peter (Gina) Staudohar; daughter, Ann Marie Brunger; three grandchildren, Stephanie, Cole and Janet and many other loving family members and friends.

Joyce was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Frank; brother, Ivan Iverson.

A memorial service for Joyce will take place Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. at Cross of Christ Lutheran Church, 99 County Line Rd., Crown Point, IN 46307, with Pastor Howard Clevenger officiating.
