Joyus was born in Gary, IN, October 29, 1938 to Anna (Walters) & Joe Bednash. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gene Windsor; sister Joanne Harper; father Joe; mother Anna Marshall; and brother-in-law Tom Brady. She is survived by her daughter Christine Windsor, and sons Chip, Tom (Lori), & Eric Windsor. Also her sisters Eva Brady and Theresa (Ken) Skeen, and brother and sister-in-law George & Vida Marshall. She was an avid animal lover and always had at least three or four pets at a time which she'd rescued. She had a great appreciation for fifties rock and roll and loved to dance! She had been known to do a mean "jitterbug." She loved being with family and friends and would never miss a chance to prepare one of her famous dishes for all to enjoy! She was cooking often for her family right up to her last days. She always put the needs of others ahead of her own.
Joyus was a devout born-again Christian and a lifelong member of the Portage Bible Church. She was a dedicated and constant prayer warrior. She loved sharing the teaching of Jesus to her loved ones and those around her to guide them toward a solid and successful foundation in life.
Mom, Sister, Auntie, Grandma, Grams, Gra-Gra, Friend, JOYUS will be greatly missed by her loving family and friends.
