Juanita M. (Fay) Bryan (nee Finnearty), age 92 of Portage passed away Saturday, September 27, 2014. She was born on July 18, 1922 to the late William and Maude Finnearty. She was a member of St Bridget's Church, St Anne's Confraternity, and Nativity of Our Savior Church. She was a small but mighty woman with a heart of gold. Juanita loved to sing and dance and was still swinging to the music even though she couldn't actually dance anymore. Her family and friends will miss her very much and will cherish the memories.

She is survived by son, Jim (Sue) Fay of Hobart, IN; two daughters, Joann Evans of Hobart, IN; Carol (Jim) Fitzgerald of IA; son in law, Don Evans; brother-in-law, Vern Goulden of Springfield, IL; three daughters-in-law, Maria Fay of Hobart, IN; Ellen Fay of Lake Station, IN; Kathy Fay of Hobart, IN; many loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Francis L. "Fritz" Fay in 1970 and William Bryan in 1988, three sons, John, Lenny, and Danny Fay, three sisters, Frances, Pearl and Joan; three grandchildren, Dean, Brent, and Christy.

Funeral services are Saturday, October 4, 2014 at 10 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park in Merrillville. Visitation is Friday, October 3, 2014 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
