Juanita B. Rearick

JUANITA B. REARICK, age 77, of Portage, passed away Sunday, June 19, 2011. She was a lifelong area resident. Juanita was a graduate of Indiana University and member of the Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority. She was employed for many years at St. Anthony Hospital in the anesthesia department. Juanita was a member of Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church and a duplicate bridge player. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and grandmother.

Juanita is survived by her husband, Raymond Rearick; 2 children, Karen Sue Daniels, Los Angeles, CA and Robert Rearick, Portage; 5 grandchildren, Lisa and Jake Bell, Melissa Brownie, Kelly and Brandon Rearick; great grandchildren, Ethan, Gavin and Ava.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her son-in-law, David Daniels.

A Mass of Christian Burial for Juanita will be Thursday, June 23, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption B.V.M. Catholic Church, 3530 Illinois St., Hobart. Cremation will follow. Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (219) 942-2109 or online at www.reesfuneralhomes.com.
