Judith P. Connors, age 83, of Laporte and formerly of Hobart passed away Wednesday May 10, 2023, at the Franciscan Health Michigan City Campus. She was born April 8, 1940, in Chicago, IL to the late Charles and Clersa (Sorrell) Brandon. In addition to being a homemaker Judith managed a building owned by the University of Chicago. She enjoyed Reading, Knitting, and watching her great grandchildren play and grow.

Judith is survived by her daughter, Nancy (David) McCoy of LaPorte; her son-in-law Tim Vernon of Lake Station; seven grandchildren, Brittany Allshouse, Brandon Boblin, Dalton Vernon, Dakota Vernon, Madison McCoy, Emma McCoy, and Jordan Vernon; six great grandchildren, Emma, Remi, Axel, Nova, Aria, and Rowan; a sister and two brothers; Jimmy (Linda) Brandon of Arizona, Tommy Brandon of Portage, and Linda Golba of Matteson, IL; and many nieces and nephews.

Judith was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William Connors; her daughter, Laura Vernon; and grandson, Baby David.

Visitation will be from 4-8 pm Tuesday May 16, 2023, at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana 46342. Her Funeral Service will be 10 am Wednesday May 17, 2023, at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Portage.
