Judith A. Francis, age 79 of Portage passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2021.  She was born on November 15, 1941, in Chicago, Illinois to the late Jacob and Hazel Lytell.  Judith had worked for the Comfort Keepers as a Certified Nursing Assistant.  She was a member of the Bonner Senior Center and also volunteered for the United Way.  Judith loved playing Solitaire, praying, and going for walks.

She is survived by one son, Jeffrey Hosein, one daughter, Heide Hosein, grandchildren, Jaron Hosein, Kody Hosein, Kristianna Hosein, Samantha Mendoza, and great-grandchild, Nevaeh Rentas.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Jacob Lytell.

Cremation will take place with Rees Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Portage Chapel, (219) 762-3013.  A memorial service is being planned at a later date.
