Judith A. Schmitt, age 77, of Portage passed away suddenly on Sunday January 28, 2018 in her home. Judith was born February 16, 1940 in Gary, Indiana to the late Leo and Marian (Ingles) Schmitt. She was a retired clerk with the EJ&E railroad. She loved her family and was loved in return.

Judith is survived by her daughter, Jennifer (Jesse Prickett) Schmitt of Portage; her granddaughter, Ashley Brueno; her great grandson, Anthony Szczepanski; her sister, Joanne Fenlon of Colonia, NJ; and her special nephew, John Knight.
