Judy E. Burris, age 65, a long time resident of Lake Station passed away on Monday, July 18, 2011. She was born on November 17, 1945 in McHenry, Kentucky, the daughter of Jesse and Wilma Moore. Judy was married to Phillip Burris on August 4, 1963 in Beaver Dam, Kentucky. Judy loved gardening, cooking, and crafts. Her greatest joy was taking care of everyone. Judy was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and a friend to all.

Judy is survived by her loving family; husband Phillip Burris, Lake Station, daughters Michelle Burris, Lake Station, and Marjorie Burris, Santa Anna, California, son Greg (Christina) Burris, Portage, grandchildren Ericka and John, sister Shirley (Joe) James, Portage, LuAnn (David) Cochran, Henderson, Kentucky, brothers Brett (Tammy) Moore, McHenry, Kentucky, Bart Moore, McHenry, Kentucky, and Jessie C. Moore, Beaver Dam, Kentucky, and other loving family and dear friends.

A visitation for Judy Burris will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm on Friday, July 22, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home – Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage with a funeral service at 3:00 pm.
