Judy Gaye Hodge

Judy G. Hodge (nee Hayes), age 70, of Crown Point, and formerly of Warrior, Alabama, passed away Wednesday, March 21, 2018.  She was born on May 19, 1947 in Birmingham, Alabama to the late Clyde and Hazel Hayes. On November 11, 1977, she married the love of her life, John Oliver Hodge in Gary, Indiana.  Judy loved to crochet and loved her family. First and foremost, she was a Christian woman.  Judy was a member of Gardendale First Baptist Church and attended Bethel Church in Crown Point.

Judy is survived by her children, Dale (Synde) Graves, Cathy (Tom) Runk, Rhonda Williams, John Daniel (C.J.) Hodge; grandchildren, Nicholas Trottier, Ryan Malott, Noah Runk, Jacob Graves, Jenna Graves, Jordan Graves, Kendal (David) Sheldon, Katie (Drew) Davis, Kristen (Chris) McDonald, Michelle Williams, Melody (Nick Fraizer) Williams, Tori Rene Gigandet, Corey Gigandet, Austen Gigandet, and William Deveaux; great grandchildren, Maylee McDonald, Clara Jo Davis, Nick Fraizer, and Brantley Gigandet; sister, Peggy (Rodger) Stone; brother, David (Sue) Hayes.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John Oliver Hodge in 1992. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in Judy's name may be made to ovarian cancer research or to the charity of the donor's choice.

Per Judy's wishes, there will be no attended services in Northwest Indiana.

A graveside service will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. at Union Baptist Church Cemetery in Marion, Kentucky.
