JUDY F. REYES, age 61, of Portage, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, September 21, 2010. Judy was born on July 31, 1949 in East Chicago to Donald and Faye Chism. She was a schoolteacher who was currently employed at Cool Spring Elementary School in Michigan City. Judy was an avid traveler and loved going all over the world with her husband. Judy will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Reyes; sons, Cory (Niki) Wisniewski, Justin and Keith Wisniewski; parents, Donald and Faye Chism; stepdaughters, Lisa (Brian) OBrien and Sheryl (Mark) Kozy; grandchildren, Trey, TJ, Natalie, Nina, Lauren, and Denham; sister, Carole Chism; sister-in-law, Marcia Chism; niece, Dawn Pyle; nephew, Craig Chism; puppy, Addison Clark; many loving family and friends.

Judy was preceded in death by her grandson, Nathan Wisniewski and brother, Larry Chism.

A memorial service for Judy will be Saturday, September 25, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage, with Pastor Richard Brown officiating.
