Judy Lee Spence

Judy Lee Spence, age 66, of Portage passed away Saturday August 6, 2016 at her home with her family at her side. Judy was born December 2, 1949 in Okmulgee, OK to the late Julian F. and Wanda L. (Manes) Nunley. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Judy was a Pastor's wife for thirty-four years and loved her church and caring for her family. She enjoyed genealogy and scrapbooking. Judy was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ.

Judy is survived by her husband Bishop Jarret R. Spence of Portage; her son Jarret (Caryn) Spence of LaPorte; her daughter Melissa (Randy) Wlodarski of Valparaiso; five grandchildren Zoe Spence, Grace Spence, Kamryn Wlodarski, Jessica Wlodarski and Jamie (Justin) Garza; one great grandchild Gavin Garza; one sister Jeanette Nunley of Hobart, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Daniel Nunley.

Funeral services will be 11:00 am Wednesday August 10, 2016 at The Church of Jesus Christ, 2797 Bryant Street, Portage, Indiana 46368 with Bishop Paul Rose officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday at The Church of Jesus Christ.
