JULIA A. BOLTOVITZ, age 82, of Hobart, passed away February 5, 2015, while surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Gary on April 4, 1932 to the late George and Helen Kravicz. Julia was a 1950 graduate of Tolleston High School and owned and operated JB's Craft for many years. She was a member of St. Bridget Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Julia loved to craft and to work in her flower garden. She also enjoyed taking care of her fish pond and her precious pets, Snickers and April. She will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
She is survived by her 2 sons, Armand (Cherry) Boltovitz, Jr. and Doug (Darlene) Boltovitz, all of Hobart; 3 grandchildren, Amanda (Adam) Halsey of Wheatfield, Tracy (Daniel) Price of Hobart, and Richard Boltovitz of Hobart; 2 great grandchildren, Madalyn and River Halsey of Wheatfield; sister, Katherine Kurimski of IA.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Armand in 1994; 3 brothers and 1 sister.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Julia's memory may be made to the Hobart Humane Society.
