Obituary
JULIA HOMOKY, 91, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2011 at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Julia had been a Hobart resident for 40 years and retired from Midwest Steel.
She is survived by her loving husband, Moses Homoky, 3 step-children: Roseanne (Alan) Ooms of Hobart, Nancy (Gerald) Hanas of Valparaiso and Ronald (Sandra) Homoky of Hobart, 7 grandchildren: Kirk Homoky, Megan (Ron) German, Kreg (Erica) Homoky, Rebecca (Eric) Kociara, Jeffrey (Nikki) Ooms, Melissa Hanas and Roger Hanas, 6 great grandchildren.
The visitation and funeral services will both be held on Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart, with visitation beginning at 9:00 am Saturday. The funeral service will begin at 12:00 noon with Rev. Bob Burton officiating. Cremation will follow the funeral service.
