Obituary

Julia J. (nee Pilnock) Nikoloski, age 65 of Lake Station passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2023. She was born on October 27, 1957 in Gary, Indiana to the late John and Joann Pilnock. In July of 1977, Julie married Pete Nikoloski and together they raised three children.

She is survived by her husband, Pete Nikoloski; sons, Pete (Teresa) Nikoloski, Risto (April) Nikoloski; daughter, Stefanija (Aleksandar) Galovski; grandchildren, Hunter Nikoloski, Zander Nikoloski, Stefi Nikoloski, Riki Nikoloski, Ilija Galovski and Vangel Galovski; brothers, Mike (Betty) Pilnock, John (Suzie) Pilnock, Mike (Evelyn) Eads; and sister, Stephanie Friant.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Joann Pilnock; brothers, Daniel and Walter Pilnock; sister, Kathy Hite.

Julie had a love hate relationship with the Chicago Bears. She was the number one fan of her children's sports. She loved her family and her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren.

A funeral service will take place Sunday, March 26, 2023 at 2:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart with visitation from 12:00 pm until the time of service.
