Julia Viera

Age 95, of Lake Station passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 20, 1924 to the late Angel and Susana (nee Aponte) Amaro in Puerto Rico. Julia will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Julia is survived by her two sons Jose E. (Carmen) Viera of Aetna and Robert Viera; three daughters, Julia Ramirez of Lake Station, Carmen Ramos of East Chicago and Elsa Ramos of Puerto Rico; fourteen  grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren;  three brothers, Agapito, Gilberto and Juan Aponte, two sisters, Digna Martinez and Evangelita Aponte and many other loving family members and friends.

Julia was preceded in death by her husband Jose Viera; son, Miguel Angelo Ramos and her parents.
