JUSTIN MICHAEL DURK, age 21, a resident of Portage passed away on Thursday, October 14, 2010. He was born on November 24, 1988 in Phoenix, Arizona. Justin was a 2007 graduate of Portage High School and then he worked as a machine operator for Pointe Medical. Justin loved to be with friends, go fishing, and play video games. He was a good son, great brother, and a friend to all.

Justin is survived by his loving family; mother Sheila (James) Sweeney, Portage, brother Noah (Lucinda Robb) Martin, Lake Station, grandmother Lucy England, Valparaiso, nieces Alexus and Amber Martin, nephew Nathan Martin, uncle William Carr, Valparaiso, and other loving family and dear friends.

A visitation for Justin will be held from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Rees Funeral Home – Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Avenue, Portage. A funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, October 18, 2010 at Rees Funeral Home with Bishop Dale Combs, officiating. Burial will be at McCool Cemetery in Portage.
