Karen Rose Braun

Karen Rose Braun, age 69 of Downey, California passed away Tuesday, April 25, 2023. She was born on August 8, 1953, in Gary, Indiana to Richard and Rose Braun. She had worked at the Staples Center in California. Karen will be remembered as a free spirit.

She is survived by her mother, Rose Braun of Hobart, IN; four brothers, Thomas Braun of Hobart, IN; Lawrence (Karen) Braun of Lake Station, IN; Theodore Braun of Hobart, IN; Matthew (Michelle) Braun of Valparaiso, IN; one sister Charlotte (Carl) Pofeldt of CA.

She was preceded in death by her father, Richard Braun.

Cremation will take place in California. Memorial services are Friday, June 23, 2023 at 2 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart with Rev. Benjamin Ross officiating. Memorial visitation is Friday, June 23, 2023 just prior to the service from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Road, Hobart.
