KAREN L. STALION, age 64, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, February 19, 2011. Karen was a lifelong Hobart resident and 1965 graduate of Hobart High School. She retired from Montgomery Ward as an accounts payable clerk. She will be dearly missed.

Karen is survived by her husband, Jack; children, Tracy (Ken) Kissner of Lexington, SC, Pamela Tojek of Buffalo, NY and Christopher (Michele) Stalion; grandchildren, Michael, Kyle and Grant Kissner, Zach and Katie Tojek, and Hailey Stalion; mother-in-law, Kathryn Stalion; her beloved cat, Annie; also survived by dear relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Edythe and Elvis Pigg; and brother, Elvis C. Pigg, Jr.

A funeral service for Karen will be Tuesday, February 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., Hobart with Pastor Bob Burton officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen Memorial Park. Visitation will be Monday, February 21, 2011 from 2-5 and 7-9 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart, (219) 942-2109.
