Katalina Ray Chhim

Katalina Ray Chhim, age 7, too beautiful for this earth, sadly passed away unexpectedly Tuesday, August 26, 2025. She was born on October 5, 2017, in Blue Island, Illinois. For someone so small, Kat had a huge personality. She loved to sing and dance, and she had the biggest brightest smile that could cure any bad day. It was in her nature to help people, and she loved going to school at Crisman Elementary. She was loved by a huge family and will never be forgotten.

Kat is survived by her heartbroken parents, Jacob and Katherine Dobson; sister, Bella Chhim; brothers, Artie Chhim, Jacob Phillips; numerous uncles, aunts, and cousins; her dog, Sully; her cat, Angel; and of course, her classmates and teachers at Crisman Elementary.

She was preceded in death by her Nana, Terri Dahl.

Visitation for Kat will be held Saturday, September 6, 2025, from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage. Cremation to follow.
