KATHERINE BJELICH, age 88, of Hobart, passed away Thursday, January 15, 2015. Katherine was born to Algie and Hattie Mae Boatright on May 19, 1926 in Tennessee. She was a longtime Hobart resident and former member of the Hobart First Baptist Church. She will be remembered as a loving mother, sister, and aunt.

Katherine is survived by her daughter, Linda (Bruce) Fletcher of Portage; sister, Margaret (Stanley) Edwards of Portage; nieces and nephews, Terry (Doug) Orgon of Portage, Steven (Lisa) Bjelich of MO, and Deanna (Don) Schubert of CA.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Mike Bjelich and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.

A funeral service will be Monday, January 19, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd., with Rev. Jeff Spencer officiating. Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery.
