Kathleen McLean Pastor, age 76, of Hobart passed away Monday January 29, 2024. She was born August 12, 1947, in Gary, to the late Charles and Ann (Wasil) Pazera. She was a graduate from Lew Wallace High School, in Gary. Kathleen worked at Tip Top Grocery Store as a meat wrapper and Keystone Machinery as a secretary. She loved to create holiday decorations and host Christmas Eve with her family. She also enjoyed fishing and cooking. Kathleen and her son would try to go on vacations 2 or 3 times a year. They would often spend weeks at her son's cabin in Michigan and even rented a cabin in Upper Michigan for the past two years. Kathleen loved her children and grandchildren very much and would spoil them as much as she could. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and cousin.

She is survived by her son, Bob (Mary Arambula) McLean; her daughter, Becky (Shelby) Charleston; her grandchildren, Chad, CJ, Ashley, Aaron, and Shelby; her great grandchildren, Alaina Lee, Willow, and Hayden; her half-sister, Maryann; and her cousin Rex.

Kathleen is preceded by her parents Charles and Ann; her brother, Chuck Pazera; and her sister, Charlotte.

A visitation for Kathleen will be held Sunday February 4, 2024, from 3:00 p.m.- 7:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart, Indiana 46342. A funeral service will take place Monday February 5, 2024, at 12:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home. Pastor Scott Jones will be officiating. Burial to follow at Ridge Lawn Cemetery.
