Kathy Lee Byrum (nee Timpe), age 75, of Hobart, IN, passed away at home  on Sunday, November 13, 2022.

Kathy was born on April 17, 1947 in Chicago, IL to the late Lawrence and Anita (nee Taffel) Timpe.  She took great care of her loving family and her home.

Kathy is survived by her children: Biz (Connie) Williams and Misti (Jim) Carlson; grandchildren: Linnea, Angie, Jessi, Elizabeth, Chloe, Desi, Sadies (Derek) and Kirstin; great-grandchildren: Sidda, Ren, Amaiya, Kingston, Dylan, Viv, Ellie, Brooklynn, Junior, and Matthew; siblings: Diane Vest, Tip Timpe, Matt (Cindy) Timpe, and Jon Timpe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Kathy was preceded in death by her dear husband of 39 years: Robert "Bob"; her parents Lawrence and Anita; children: Shortie Cook and Shunie Byrum; and siblings: Cork and Pete Timpe.

Family and friends may gather at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel (600 W Old Ridge Rd, Hobart) on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 from 3:00-8:00 P.M.  A funeral service will take place on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Michael Lawson officiating.  At rest, Calvary Cemetery.
