Kathy A Hite, age 63 a longtime Lake Station resident passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2017. She was born on April 7, 1954 in Gary Indiana to the late John Pilnock and Joanne Zack. She loved her family dearly and enjoyed cooking. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend.

Kathy is survived by her husband of 44 yrs. Wendell C Hite; three sons, Wendell (Kristy) Hite, Kenny (Maria Sullivan) Hite, Jonathan Hite; two daughters, Tanya (Tim) Gibbs and Kristy Hite; eight grandchildren; two brothers, Mike (Betty) Pilnock and John (Susan) Pilnock; two sisters, Julia (Pete) Nikoloski and Stephanie (John Jabo) Friant and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her son, Charles Hite, her parents and her brothers Walt and Daniel Pilnock.

A celebration of Kathy's life will begin on Monday, April 24, 2017 starting with 9:30 a.m. prayers at Rees Funeral Home, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart and proceeding St. Bridget Church, 568 E. 2nd Street, Hobart for a 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial with Rev. Dominic V. Bertino officiating. Cremation will follow. Visitation is Sunday April 23, 2017 from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel.
