Obituary
Katherine "Katie" Mary Haviza, age 63, of Valparaiso, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Northwest Health-Porter in Valparaiso. Katie was born in Gary, Indiana on May 6, 1958 to the late Roy Edward and Patricia Rae (nee Camp) Haviza. She enjoyed quilting.
Katie is survived by her siblings, Sharon Webb, Joseph (Pamela) Haviza, Margaret Haviza, Therese "Terry" Haviza, Bridget (Daniel Lopez) Haviza-Lopez, Frances Haviza; nephews, Jack Webb, Eddie Haviza, nephew and Godson-Pablo Lopez; nieces, Gina Lopez, Erin Lopez; and two great nieces, Jadelynn, Kristin.
She was preceded in death by her brother, David A. Haviza; and her parents
A funeral service will take place Tuesday, September 21, 2021 at 7:00 pm CST with Deacon Dennis Guernsey officiating at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, IN 46368. The funeral service will be available to watch live on Rees Funeral Homes Facebook page.
