Kellilyn Valetich, age 54 of Valparaiso, formerly of Portage passed away Thursday, January 11, 2024. She was born on March 27, 1969, to the late Alvin T. and Kathy (Cahill) Valetich in Gary, Indiana. Kelly took pride in her work as she was a devoted employee of Town and Country for over twenty years of service, commonly referred to by her peers as "Kelly from the Deli". She enjoyed spending time with her family during major Holidays such as Fourth of July City Parades and spoiling the one's she loved during Christmas time. Kelly was an avid movie lover and collector. Kelly loved spending quality time with her Daughter Megan and was always the first one to tell you how proud she was of the woman/Mother she became. Kelly cherished moments with her Granddaughter's Maya and Gianna and never failed to make them laugh and smile. Kelly loved enjoying Chicago Bear Football on Sunday's as she sat alongside her Father and Nephew's. Kelly loved a good stroll through the neighborhood as she treated her Niece's and Nephew's to Dairy Queen or a day at the park. Most of all, Kelly will be remembered for going above and beyond for the one's she loved. She will be remembered as a loving mother, Godmother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.

She is survived by her daughter, Megan (Charlie Susidko) Valetich; two granddaughters, Maya, and Gianna Susidko; two sisters, Tammy (Raul Santos) Valetich and Tracy (Trevor) Staley; Brother Kevin Valetich; two nieces, Kendall (Dominick Wilson) Wardecki and Allee Siler; two nephews, Richard (Angelica) Santos and Ryan Santos; great nephew, RJ Santos; Aunt, Sally (Ron) Price; uncle, Pat Cahill and many other loving family members and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Alvin T. Valetich and mother, Kathy (Cahill) Valetich.

A memorial service for Kellilyn will be held at 3:00pm, Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave. Portage, Indiana 46368. A memorial visitation will be held from 2:00pm until the time of service, also at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel.
