Kenneth Raymond Ballard, Jr. of Merrillville passed away Wednesday October 9, 2024, at St. Mary Medical Center in Hobart. Kenneth was born November 18, 1972, in Gary, Indiana to Kenneth Raymond and Donna (Lengyel) Ballard, Sr..   Kenneth worked for ASC Industries in East Hazel Crest, Illinois. Kenneth was a member of Gracepoint Church and Valparaiso Porter Lodge #137 F&AM.

Ken is survived by his daughter, Shaughnessy Ballard of Merrillville; parents, Kenneth Raymond and Donna Ballard, Sr. of Merrillville; niece, Nikki; nephew, Randy; great niece, Alessia; great nephew, Kaden; and many other relatives and dear friends.

Ken was preceded in death by two sisters, Selena and Shaughnessy.

Visitation will be Sunday October 13, 2024, from 3:00 to 7:30 pm with a 7:00 pm Masonic Service. Funeral services will follow at 7:30 pm.  All services will be held at Rees Funeral Home 600 W. Old Ridge Road Hobart, Indiana. Cremation will follow.
