Kenneth L. Bolton, age 71, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, October 31, 2020. He was born on June 16, 1949 in Island, Kentucky to Paul and Mary Bolton. He proudly served his country as a military policeman during the Vietnam War for the United States Army. He retired from Ford Motor Company. He was an avid fisherman and loved being outdoors. He liked camping and enjoyed woodworking. Above all, he was an amazing husband, father and grandfather. Kenny cherished the time he spent with his family.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 48 years, Brenda (nee Burrell) Bolton; sons, Kevin Bolton of Hobart, Kristopher (Amy) Bolton of Lowell; grandchildren, Timber (Johnny) Tolson, Logun Bolton, Dyllin Bolton, Lukas Bolton; step granddaughters, Taylor and Addison Lee; brother, Gene (Karen) Bolton of Calhoun, KY; sisters, Doris Miller of Slaughters, KY, Paula (Ronnie) Brown of Island, KY; sister-in-law, Holly Bolton of Johnson City, TN; and many other loving family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Mary Bolton; and brothers, Douglas and Jerry Bolton; step grandson, Joey Lee.

A funeral service for Kenny will take place Thursday, November 5, 2020 at 6:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Visitation will be held Thursday from 3:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home.  Private burial will take place at Marion National Cemetery, Marion, Indiana.
