Kenneth R. Coates, age 71, of Plymouth, passed away Wednesday, September 30, 2015. He was born on March 5, 1944 in Gary, Indiana to the late Milton and Alfreda (nee Kossow) Coates. He was a 1962 graduate of Hobart High School and retired from Nipsco in 2001. He loved the cubs, cars and motorcycles. Kenneth was a loving brother, uncle and friend
He is survived by his four brothers, Dennis (Penny) Coates of Westville, Thomas (Linda) Coates of Hobart, Richard (Patricia) Coates of Portage and Darryl (Lianne) Coates of Florida; two sisters, Karen (Douglas) Hill of Tennessee and Arlene (Andy) Koritko of Hobart and numerous nieces and nephews and other loving family members and neighbors.
Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Norman, Larry and Ronald Coates, and nephew, Jerry Kozlica.
A Visitation for Kenneth will be held Saturday, October 3, 2015 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. Burial will be held at Graceland.
