Kenneth Wayne David, age 71 of Hobart, passed away Tuesday, August 16, 2022 at VNA Hospice Center in Valparaiso. He was born on August 12, 1951 in Gary, Indiana to the late Kenneth and Lennie David. Ken owned and managed several auto body repair shops during his career. He had a passion for cars and enjoyed restoring them.  He also enjoyed traveling and spending time outside tending to his flowers. Above all he loved his grandchildren and they were the reason he fought his illness for so long.

He is survived by his wife, Jaye David; children, Ryan (Heather) David, Eric (Kellee) Goetschel, Nicole (Chris) Biernat; grandchildren, Sydney, Peyton, Zane, Emma, Olivia, Kennedy, Carson; great grandson, River; sisters, Laura (Frank Carbone) David, Mary (Andy) Gregory; stepmother, Arlene David; nieces, Rachel and Janis; nephew, Andrew.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Lennie David and brother, John David.
