Kenneth L. Owens

Kenneth L. Owens, age 91, of Hobart, passed away Saturday, September 19, 2020.  He was born in Johnson City, Illinois on October 4, 1928 to the late Albert and Edna (nee Hardin) Owens. He enjoyed bird watching and fishing.

Kenneth is survived by his daughters, Janet (Sargon) Tamras of Lake Station, Kathleen Krisch of Aurora, IL, Edna Whitaker of Portage; son, Albert Owens of Portage; seven grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Rev. Jerry (Sharon) Owens; sister, Glenda (Rodney) Walker; and many other loving family members and friends.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Marie (nee Piscopo) Owens; son, Kenneth; grandson, George Krajnovich; brother, Albert Owens, Jr.; sister, Melba Owens; and his parents.

A funeral service for Kenneth will take place Friday, September 25, 2020 at 11:00 am CST with Pastor Bob Burton officiating at Rees Funeral Home, 600 W. Old Ridge Rd. Hobart, IN 46342.
