KENNETH L. QUICK, age 80, of Hobart, died July 21, 2015. He was born on September 27, 1934 in Centralia, Illinois to Gerald and Mary Quick. Ken was a 1952 graduate of Bosse High School in Evansville, Indiana. He attended Evansville College and Valparaiso University. Ken retired with 45 years of Rail Road Service from C & EI, Pennsylvania Railroad/ Penn Central/ Conrail/ Norfolk Southern. He was an avid sports fan.

He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Gorjean; 5 children, Timothy (Nancy) Quick of New York, Jill (Anthony) Cadle of IN, Debra (Russ) Gomez of UT, Kelly (Gil) Razo of IN, and Kyle Quick of IN; 7 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren; brother, David (Phyllis) Quick of IN. and many loving nieces and nephews.

Ken was a big believer in the Hobart K-9 Department, so in lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ken's memory to the Hobart FOP #121 (K-9 Department in memo line) and sent to Hobart Police, K-9 Dept., c/o Simon Gresser, 705 E. 4th St., Hobart, IN 46342-4440.
