Kenny W. Holder, age 60, of Portage, passed away on Tuesday, April 26, 2016, after a brief illness. Kenny was born October 10, 1955 in Somerset, Kentucky .Graduated from Portage High School in 1973 and served in the U.S Coast Guard from 1973-1977. He worked at the Portage Water Treatment Plant for over 20 years. Kenny enjoyed collecting old books and reading.
Kenny is survived by his brother; Jeff (Darla) Holder, Aunts; Virginia (Bill) Bernard and Brenda McGowan both of Russell Spring, KY; Uncles Paul (Joyce) Holder of North Vernon, Indiana and Doris (Karen) Holder of Hamilton, Ohio and many Cousins.
Kenny was preceded in death by his parents, Lewis and Martha Holder. .
Memorial contributions are preferred to the local Humane Society or to the Gift of Hope.
A memorial service for Kenny will be held Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at 7:00 p.m. at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave, Portage with Pastor Bob Burton officiating.
