Kevin L. Dixon, age 36, of Portage passed away Monday, May 22, 2023. He was born on December 23, 1986 in Valparaiso to Robert and Glenda Dixon. He was a 2005 graduate of Portage High School and a three-sport athlete, playing Baseball, Basketball and Tennis. He had a passion for the outdoors and enjoyed gardening, especially planting flowers. He liked taking his dog Cali to the beach for walks. Kevin had a natural talent for music and could sit down at the piano and play any song. He put other people first in his life and will always be remembered for the love he had for his family and friends.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Glenda Dixon; brother, Bryan (Kayla) Dixon; nephews, Maverick and Maddox Dixon; grandmothers, Myra Dixon and Barbara Crowe.

He was preceded in death by his grandfathers, James Dixon and Leon Garrard. Memorial contributions in Kevin's name may be made to the family or to the American Diabetes Association, PO Box 15829, Arlington, VA 22215.

A memorial service for Kevin will take place Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 7:00 pm at Rees Funeral Home, Olson Chapel, 5341 Central Ave., Portage.
