Kevin Dowdle
age 55, a 31 year resident of Hobart, formerly of South Chicago, passed away Monday, May 9, 2011. He was born on September 29,1955 in Evergreen Park, Illinois the son of the late Richard and Lucille (nee Costigan) Dowdle. Kevin worked as a skiptracer for Attorneys Bowman & Heintz, he enjoyed golfing, genealogy and being a band booster for his children. Kevin was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, and friend.
Kevin is survived by his loving family; wife; Nancy (nee Cramer) Dowdle of Hobart, 2 sons; Nicholas and Patrick Dowdle both of Hobart, 2 daughters; Megan (John) Moneypenny of Valparaiso, and Ashley (Dustin) Leinenbach of Attica, Indiana, 3 grandchildren; Lolita Dowdle, Ian and Myra Moneypenny, brother Richard (Joan) Dowdle of Burns Harbor.
Kevin was preceded in death by his parents.A visitation for Kevin Dowdle will be held from 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm on Thursday, May 12 2011 at Rees Funeral Home – Hobart Chapel, 600 West Old Ridge Road, Hobart. A funeral service will be Friday, May 13, 2011 at 11:00 am also at Rees Funeral Home, Hobart. Cremation will follow.
